My name is Martha Sam.
I am a Nigerian-American Landscape Designer/Architect with a comprehensive background encompassing two years of specialized experience in high-end residential design, urban planning, and site engineering. My professional ethos is rooted in the belief that the thoughtful incorporation and understanding of histories can yield a design that is meaningful and impactful, contributing to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and communities.
My mission extends beyond the professional realm; I aspire to carry forward my values of incorporating an understanding of history, culture, and community into the broader design world. Drawing from my diverse background in sculpture and ceramics, I bring a unique perspective and a synthesis of knowledge from different mediums to my design approach.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I am a retired athlete who dedicates my free time to community engagement. Whether volunteering as a coach at my former high school or serving as a youth and young adult leader at my church, I am committed to making a positive impact. You might also find me covered in clay at a ceramic studio, where I continue to explore and express my creative passions.
